Hey everyone! I found this great link that has to do with strategies for effective outreach as a non-profit and one of the surprising key components they highlighted was Direct Mail! There is still a group of people who aren't online and not plugged into social media who might enjoy a fridge magnet save the date over an email. As organizations are moving further and further away from Direct Mail, there leaves a bit of room for one or two extra personalized invitations. What do other people think about Direct Mail as an outreach strategy? That's just one of their points. Thank you so much for sharing the article, Kaitlin! Although it is surprising that some organizations still use direct mail, it is the reality. I think this is not so much about their resistance to change but due to very limited resources to maintain the social media accounts. It would be interesting to lean about organizations that do blogging. Please share if you keep a blog.
