  • Provide information about how to develop and implement mental health protocols or sound practices, including many important factors to consider.

  • Provide an opportunity for leaders of organizations to connect with other leaders that have developed and implemented mental health protocols and can provide guidance and advice.

  • Provide examples of sound practices that an organization can take to support employee mental health.

  • Provide the tools necessary for an organization to start developing a mental health protocol.

Although many service providers have been trained on mental health, they have identified the need for more training. Mental health can be very complex and difficult to navigate, especially with vulnerable newcomers. Service providers have indicated that they need more direction and support from the leaders of their organizations in order to better serve clients with mental health needs, and to support their own mental health at work. This workshop is intended for the leaders of organizations (Executive Directors, managers, etc.).
